The World Finals
Bocuse d'Or is by far the world's most prestigious and demanding chef competition. The world final is held every other year in January on Sirha Lyon. The competition was established in 1987 by master chef Paul Bocuse, and has since evolved into a global culinary competition.

Bocuse d'Or Europe.
Bocuse d'Or Europe is the European qualifying competition for the international final of the Bocuse d'Or.The ten best candidates in the competition in Trondheim Spektrum on March 19-20 will advance to the world final in Lyon in 2025.

About Paul Bocuse

Paul Bocuse was a French chef and cookbook author. He is considered one of the best chefs of recent times and was a key exponent of the so-called nouvelle cuisine or new French cuisine, a style of cooking that emphasized freshness, lightness and pure flavours. He was the initiator of the prestigious Bocuse d'Or (meaning Bocuse Gold) competition. This competition was first held in Lyon in 1987. Paul Bocuse held the role of President of the Bocuse d'Or until 2016, when his son Jèròme Bocuse took over the title. His legacy in the culinary world continues to live on even after his passing in 2018.
